Increase in Service Tax w.e.f 1st June 2015

The Government of India has enhanced the Service Tax from 12.36% to 14% w.e.f 1st June 2015. Accordingly the service tax will be charged @14% on all transactions pertaining to Life Membership fees, annual Membership fees, Import License fees, Handling Charges and all other services being provided by NRAI. We give below the amount payable w.e.f 1st April 2015:- 

     1)  Life Membership Fees: - Rs. 24,026/
     2)  Annual Membership Fees for 5Years – Rs. 11,486/-
     3)  Import License Fees Rifle / Pistol – Rs.1,710/-
     4)  Import License Fees Shotgun- Rs.2,850/-
     5)  Duplicate Membership Card- Rs. 86/-
     6)  Annual Membership Renewal Fees- Rs. 570/-
     7)  Affiliation Fees for State Rifle Association / Directly Affiliated Units- Rs. 570/-
     8)  Affiliation Fees for District Rifle Associations through State Rifle Association- Rs. 114/-
     9)  Affiliation Fees of Rifle Clubs through State Rifle Association- Rs. 57/-
