VOLUNTEERS FOR SHOOTING COMPETITONS


A large number of officials have attended ISSF Jury/Judges course but do not have any experience to officiate in shooting competitions. There are also shooters (not active now) but are willing to associate themselves with the shooting sport. In a view to create a second line of technical officials, it has been decided to welcome such persons having shooting background to act as “Assistant Technical Official” (ATO) on volunteer basis. The terms and conditions for appointment of these ATOs will be as under: 
 
That He/She:
 
1. Has been a shooter/worked as an official in any shooting competition
2. Will not be permitted to participate in any event during the period he/she has been nominated as  ATO in shooting competition.
3. Cannot not take any coaching assignment during the time of his/her nomination as ATO.
4. These ATOs will be working under NRAI Technical Officials and other officials as nominated by NRAI during the period of the Competition.
4. No boarding/lodging, travel/local transport charges/officiating allowance will be provided to ATOs. Only lunch/snacks at range will be provided.
 
Volunteers will be selected on merit. On completion of assignment; NRAI will issue a Diploma to successful ATOs. These ATOs will be considered for nomination in future shooting competitions/World Cups etc.
 
The 60th NSCC in Rifle/Pistol events will be held at Pune from 12th to 26th December 2016. A copy of latest photo and ID proof must be attached to the application.
