The Organizing Committee (OC) of Khelo India 2021 has been notified the conduct of Khelo India 2021 from 21st November 2021 onwards. The shooting events of Air Rifle and Air Pistol Men and women categories will be conducted at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, New Delhi. The detailed schedule will be notified in due course o time.
The OC of Kholo India 2021 has fixed criteria for participation in Khelo India 2021. The shooters, born on 1.1.2003 or afterward are only eligible to participate in Khelo India in Air Rifle and Air Pistol Men and Women events, as per letter received from the OC.
It has been decided that:
1. Two selection trials will be conducted for the shooters who are born as on 1.1.2003 or afterwards. Schedule of the trials and other terms and conditions shall be notified shortly.
2. The shooters, as per para 1 above, who participated in 63 NSCC and have achieved MQS under Rule 17.6 of NRAI Match Book are eligible to participate in selection trials
3. A ranking list of shooters in each event is attached herewith as per para 1 above. Shooters, as per list attached only are allowed to participate in each event, as per ranking in each Air Rifle and Air Pistol Men and Women category in two selection trials.
4. All shooters, as per list attached, MUST file their details on the link https://nsrs.kheloindia.gov.in/Home/NSRS immediately to avoid any delay in filing their entry.
5. PLEASE NOTE THAT AS PER OC RULES, THE PARTICIPATION STATE OF A SHOOTER WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS AND NOT AS PER STATE OF REPRESENTATION REGISTERED WITH NRAI.
6. Only 16 shooters in each event will be selected to participate in Khelo India. The ranking will be calculated as under:
a. Base Score – achieved during 63 NSCC
b. Selection Trial 1 score
c. Selection Trial 2 score
Average of two high scores under (a) to (c) will be the basis of final ranking and first 16 shooters in each should be selected to participate in Khelo India 2021. Ties will be broken in accordance with ISSF Rules.
7. No Finals will be conducted and average, based on the qualification score, will be the basis of final ranking.
8. These trials are for exclusive purpose of selection of shooters for Khelo India 2021 and the scores of these trials will not be considered for any purpose under Selection Policy for selection of teams for international competitions.
9. The shooters will have to make their own arrangements for their boarding/lodging and transport for their participation in Selection Trials.
