Amendment in Clause 10 of Selection Criteria for Rifle and Pistol 2023


Those shooters, who are ranked in the top 10, will be permitted to represent the country in any international competition at Own Cost subject to the following conditions:
 
a. The National Squad (NSQ) members are required to submit an Annual Training Program (ATP) through Chief Coach for approval by NRAI/HPD. 
b. The format for ATP shall be prepared by HPD and shooters may submit their ATP after NQS is announced by NRAI.
c. The scores of shooters, ranked between 4-10 in respective events, if permitted to participate at own cost as MQS shooter, shall be considered, if Team India sponsored by NRAI, is participating in that competition. 
d. Prior permission from NRAI is mandatory for participation in any international competition. The permission shall be subject to submission of ATP, as stated under (a).
e. Shooters must submit their request for participation to NRAI through respective Chief Coach/Foreign Coach/HPD.
f. Scores achieved in a competition, shall not be considered for ranking, if  NRAI is not sponsoring any team. 
 
This rule will also be applicable in competitions for juniors and youth. 
 
Notwithstanding the above, on the recommendations of the President, the Selection Committee of NRAI, may allow any shooter, irrespective of the ranking, to participate in international competitions at own cost.
