Change of cut-off date for determination of age for Juniors/Youth/Sub Youth/Masters/Senior Masters/Super Masters

The ISSF has introduced new cut-off date for the determination of age for juniors/youth/sub youth. Now the cut-off date is fixed as on 31 December instead of determination of age as on first day of the competition. Accordingly, the age for all categories like junior/youth/sub youth/masters/senior masters and super masters will be decided on the basis of age as on 31 December in which year the competition/trials are held.

This will be applicable from 1 May 2023 in all NRAI recognised competitions. Since the process of conducting the State Championships have started, all affiliated units are requested to implement this rule and allow shooters to participate in various age categories.

The NRAI portal is being modified accordingly for forthcoming selection trials/competitions and State Championships.
